"fr" => "Les performances économiques et financières des entreprises agro-alimentaires qui ont fait une fusion ou acquisition sont comparées à celles des entreprises agro-alimentaires qui ont fait une fusion ou acquisition. Les comparaisons sont faites sur la base de 4 critères de performance un an avant fusion ou acquisition, un et deux ans après fusion ou acquisition. L'analyse est centrée sur les acquéreurs majoritaires d'entreprises françaises sur la période 1996-2000. Les résultats des tests montrent que les fusions ou acquisitions ont peu d'effet sur la performance des acquéreurs. Mais en 2000, elles semblent avoir une influence positive sur l'EBE/capitaux employés et sur la rentabilité des capitaux propres des acquéreurs"
"en" => "The paper compares economic and financial performance of companies which experienced M&A with those which did not. Comparisons have been made with four criteria of performance one year before and one or two year after M&A announcement. The analysis focuses on M&A where the acquirer gets a majority shareholding of the target company in the French food businesses from 1996 to 2000. The results of the tests show that M&As did not have much effect on corporate performance. But in 2000, M&A seem to have impacted EBITDA to capital employed and ROE of acquirers."

De très loin, la confiance et l'intention d'achat sont les plus élevées pour des oeufs biologiques avec le logo officiel AB (agriculture biologique). Ils sont plus élevés que pour tout autre mention : signification de l'agriculture biologique pour ces oeufs, type de certification. Par contraste, la mention d'une certification par les producteurs ou le distributeur détruit une partie de la confiance et de l'intention d'achat."

Ils élaborent alors des stratégies d’évitement - arrêt de la consommation - ou d’acceptation selon leur perception de celui-ci. Dans le cas du choix d’évitement, lequel n’est, dans leur esprit, que temporaire, la persévérance de leur choix dépendra de leur perception des mesures de lutte mises en oeuvre par les pouvoirs publics afin d’assurer la qualité sanitaire des denrées alimentaires. Sous quelles conditions sont-ils prêts à accepter de consommer à nouveau de la viande ? L’auteur explore les schémas cognitifs (et émotionnels) des consommateurs en situation fictive. Ce travail, réalisé à la demande du Conseil Nnational de l’Aalimentation (CNA), suggère que les consommateurs forment des représentations mentales différentes selon leur génération d’appartenance au moment des crises des années 1990 et donc que leurs réponses sont substantiellement différentes entre deux générations. Des pistes d’actions de communication sont présentées afin de favoriser l’adoption de mesures visant à restaurer la confiance et la consommation."

"fr" => "Dans cette communication je me suis intéressé à identifier les zones d’incertitudes qui affectent les choix stratégiques des entreprises dans les marchés en déclin, puis à déterminer les moyens de les réduire ou de les contourner. Pour ce faire, un modèle économique, servant de colonne vertébrale a été utilisé. A l’aide de simulations numériques, les paramètres influençant les zones d’incertitude ont été identifiées, ainsi que leurs effets. Ce travail a été complété par un élargissement à la phase précédent la terminaison de l’activité (choix de désinvestissement) et aux stratégies entre les entreprises placées aux différents étages d’une filière. Le degré d’incertitude est relation avec le degré de similitude des entreprises ou des structures dans la chacun des segments des affaires de la chaine de valeur."

Des enfants ont, parait-il, été hospitalisés après avoir mangé un burger dans l'un des établissements d'une fameuse chaîne de restauration rapide. La filière de la viande bovine est suspectée. Les journalistes et les médias, les pouvoirs publics et les avocats se saisissent de l'affaire ! Que doiton faire ? Comment répondre aux multiples demandes ? Et voilà que la viande commercialisée dans les supermarchés pourrait aussi être incriminée... La simulation Madilon est un jeu de rôle (15 à 24 rôles) qui permet aux participants de vivre sur une période très courte (2h environ) les évènements que vivent habituellement des personnes confrontées à une situation de crise similaire sur une période plus longue (souvent plus de 3 semaines). Cette simulation a été construite à partir de situations bien réelles de crises sanitaires au préalable analysées. L'expérience montre que les crises simulées avec le protocole Madilon possèdent des caractéristiques très similaires de celles des crises réelles. Chacun des participants joue un rôle spécifique : parent, avocat, journaliste, directeur d'établissement, responsable de qualité, etc. Aucun des rôles ne nécessite de connaissances relatives aux questions sanitaires (une courte fiche technique est proposée aux participants). Tous les personnages de cette simulation ont des intérêts en jeu dans cette situation soit à titre professionnel, soit à titre personnel et bien souvent à la fois à titre professionnel et personnel. Certains personnages sont tiraillés entre des intérêts conflictuels."
