Biographie
Anne-Claire Pache est professeure en innovation sociale à l'ESSEC Business School à Paris, France. Elle est titulaire de la chaire de philanthropie de l'ESSEC. Elle est diplômée de l'ESSEC Business School (1994), détient un Master in Public Administration (2001) de la John F. Kennedy School of Government de l'Université de Harvard et un PhD in Organizational Behavior de l'INSEAD (2010).
Ses intérêts de recherche se situent à l'intersection de la théorie des organisations et de l'innovation sociale, et s'intéresse plus particulièrement aux environnements complexes, aux organisations hybrides et aux processus de changement d'échelle des entreprises sociales. Elle a mené des études qualitatives dans le domaine des entreprises sociales, de la philanthropie d'entreprise et des fondations privées. Elle est l'auteur de plusieurs livres et articles, notamment dans l'Academy of Management Review et le Academy of Management Journal, le Journal of Business Ethics, le California Management Review et le Leadership Quarterly. Elle est rédactrice en chef adjointe du Journal of Organization Design.
Elle a été Directrice Générale Adjointe, en charge des programmes académiques de l'ESSEC entre 2014 et 2017 et est actuellement Directrice de la Stratégie et de l'Engagement Sociétal de l'ESSEC.
Avant de se lancer dans une carrière universitaire, Anne-Claire Pache a fait partie de l'équipe des co-fondatrices d'Unis-Cité, l'association pionnière du service civique des jeunes en France. Elle est toujours membre du conseil d'administration d'Unis-Cité aujourd'hui, ainsi que d'un fonds d'investissement Impact.
