Abstract
In this paper, I investigate the determinants of the renegotiation of outsourcing contracts. I show that the positive relationship between the age of the relationship and the number of contractual renegotiations is positively moderated by asset specificity (Hypothesis 1) and environmental uncertainty (Hypothesis 2). On the other hand, trust does not seem to have a moderating impact on the relationship between the age of the relationship and the number of contractual renegotiations (Hypothesis 3).
