We reconsider the fabric of strategy through the lense of the ‘field-habitus-practice’ system designed by Bourdieu (1980, 1997, 2000, 2002). In this perspective, strategizing involves many people in the organization, with diverging and conflicting interests. This process relies on a large scheme of actions, position taking and decisions.
