Abstract
There is a high level of diversity within the set of H.R.M. programs offered by French universities and business schools. The influence of the teacher’s personnality, the institutional framework and various market pressures are analysed. A better use of theory and conceptual references may protect programs and minimize the negative effects of external pressures.
