Construire et faire vivre une organisation de groupe

While a holding organizational design leaves managerial autonomy to business units, a corporate organizational structure seeks a higher level of operating integration. Implementing a corporate organization raises a host of issues and challenges that managers have to address: co-existence with historical and recently added businesses, internal rivalry, "gallic village", and free riders. Building an integrated corporate structure requires patient cultivation of a feeling of belongingness that can transcend local interests and foster collective coordination. Link to the article
