This article focuses on international careers. To anticipate the impact of expatriation on their career, employees must analyze the usefulness of a proposed expatriation, international mobility options offered by the company and international strategies pursued by it. It is also important that employees asks the right questions about their career and consider how expatriation may contribute to their professional development. Finally, they must assess the extent of their international expertise and identify ways to expand their international attitude and cultural intelligence.
