"fr" => "Cet article présente une approche intégrant la qualité des données dans la chaîne de business intelligence dans le contexte des applications CRM chez EDF, principale entreprise distributrice d'électricité en France. La contribution principale de l'article est la définition et l'instantiation d'un modèle multidimensionnel en étoile générique pour le stockage, l'analyse et la capitalisation des indicateurs de qualité des données, de leurs mesures et des métadonnées associées. Cette approche est illustrée au moyen d'une application CRM d'EDF, mettant en oeuvre les indicateurs de qualité spécifiques au domaine et fournissant une gestion des informations sur la qualité dans une chaîne de business intelligence. Le rôle de l'expert en qualité des données est mis en évidence."
"en" => "This paper presents an approach integrating data quality into the business intelligence chain in the context of customer-relationship management (CRM) applications at EDF (Electricité de France), the major electricity company in France. The main contribution of this paper is the definition and instantiation of a generic multi-dimensional star-like model for storing, analyzing and capitalizing data quality indicators, measurements and metadata. This approach is illustrated through one of EDF's CRM applications, implementing domain-specific quality indicators and providing quality-driven information management as a business intelligence chain. The role of the data quality expert is highly emphasized."
