Abstract
Even though it is admitted that knowledge management is interdisciplinary, the frameworks proposed in the literature remain incomplete and generally favour one discipline at the expense of the others. It is therefore difficult to compare the contribution of the various disciplines to knowledge management and moreover, to combine their strengths in a cross-fertilization approach. In this paper, we present an integrated framework for knowledge management and illustrate how this framework can be used to compare and combine the information systems, management and artificial intelligence approaches.
