Abstract
Management control systems are ubiquitous in contemporary life. They influence employees and managers’ behaviours, with potential consequences on their health and wellbeing, particularly in regards to job-related stress. This insight presents principles and ideas on how to design Management Control Systems (MCSs) that could accompany employees and managers while protecting them from job-related stress.
