Abstract
This arti!cle traces the history of antitrust law in France in the general context of economic policy for markets. It analyses existing case-law with respect to the underlying economic analysis. The topics covered include merger control as well as behavioral control (cartels, abuses of dominant position, vertical relationships between manufacturers and distributors).
