Managers of large firms are increasingly seeking to replace bureaucratic ways of managing with more entrepreneurial ones. The purpose of this book is to help them achieve this transition. We propose an in-depth study of the management practices of three entrepreneurs and use their experiences as an occasion to assess the requisites, the distinctive features, and the implications of entrepreneurial management.
