Success Factors in R&D: A Meta-analysis of the Empirical Literature and Derived Implications for Design Management

R&D is one of the corporate functions the most difficult to manage. This study analyses a large number of researches devoted to identifying factors of success in R&D management. The central element for R&D success seems to be the mastering of communication and cooperation.
