Abstract
This study is aimed at testing the central hypothesis of strategic group research whereby firms within a strategic group tend to make the same or similar future strategic decisions. The theoretical framework is the ‘resource-based view of the firm’. The empirical setting is the French perfumery and cosmetics industry.
