This paper focuses on the link between the supplier's economic performance in a vertical partnership with a given client and the closeness of the partnership. The authors provide empirical support to the Relational Approach with regards to the traditional approaches in Business Strategy. Statistical results suggest that the creation and coordination of joint resources clearly favors cooperative gain for suppliers.
