New Orientations for a European Framework of Corporate Governance

Beyond some European rules on company law, what is a company and what its aims are remain a national question. Despite the fact that transparency requirements are established on a global dimension, the European action in the field on corporate governance is still not ambitious, dealing most of the time with mechanicals issues more than debating on real question: does it possible to elaborate a real common framework?
