L'imaginaire des projets urbains

'The imagination of urban plans' comes within the scope of research conducted by a network of scientists associated with the CNRS on Space, Cities and Regions. In this chapter, a new vision of the political and mythical dimension of urban projects is given as well as a vision of the symbols incorporated in plans. Too often a magic strength is unconsciously expected of these symbols instead of applying strategic planning.
