Beyond Strategy : The Dimensions and Dynamics of Organizational Identity

The core argument of this communication is that identity, more than the traditional concept of strategy, provides a powerful key to understand decisions and behavior in organizations. We define the dimensions of organizational identity and use the case of a large firm to illustrate the influence of identity on internationalization.
