Abstract
Using qualitative methodology this study examines boundary crossing experiences and adaptation of 47 immigrant professionals (IPs) in three countries (16 in Canada, 16 in Spain and 15 in France). This exploratory study broadens the scope of the boundaryless career theory by looking beyond one national context and by focusing on a unique and very significant population of IPs. The study also presents some lessons for the local economies, with respect to the management and integration of IPs.
