"fr" => "Cette recherche tente de mettre en évidence un lien entre, d'une part, la dotation relative en ressources d'une organisation pour un niveau d'activité donné (slack organisationnel) et, d'autre part, sa capacité à innover tant dans le domaine technologique qu'organisationnel. Au travers d'une étude empirique portant sur 203 hôpitaux publics français pendant la période 1989-1997, cette recherche établit, d'une part un lien entre le slack organisationnel et l'innovativité (capacité relative d'innovation d'une organisation), d'autre part une relation entre la nature du slack organisationnel (absorbé - ressources humaines et techniques vs non absorbé - ressources financières) et l'innovativité, enfin entre le slack organisationnel et le type d'innovations (technologiques vs organisationnelles) mises en œuvre par les hôpitaux.

"en" => "This research tries to highlight a link between, on the one hand, the relative equipment in resources of an organization at a given level of activity (organisational slack) and, on the other hand, its capacity to innovate in the technological field as well as in the organisational field. Through an empirical study relating to 203 French public hospitals for the period 1989-1997, this research establishes, on the one hand, a link between the organisational slack and innovativity (relative capacity of innovation of an organization), on the other hand, a relation between the nature of the organisational slack (absorptive - human resources and techniques vs not absorbed - financial resources) and innovativity, finally between the organisational slack and the innovations type (technological vs organisational) implemented by the hospitals.
