      "fr" => "This case examines how Sustainable Development Models (SMDs) can be mobilized by developing countries to translate Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) into concrete, economically viable, and socially inclusive outcomes. Developed in collaboration with UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the case places students in the role of policy and innovation consultants tasked with designing responsible innovation strategies across multiple sectors: circular economy (textiles), low-carbon technologies (EV batteries, green hydrogen), trade system reform (critical minerals), food security, and innovative financing mechanisms.; Rather than focusing on a single country or firm, the case adopts a systemic, multi-actor, and multi-regional perspective, highlighting how trade rules, data infrastructures, institutional mandates, technology transfer, and financing mechanisms interact. Students must navigate real-world constraints-data gaps, geopolitical asymmetries, regulatory fragmentation-while proposing solutions that are technically feasible, politically realistic, and ethically defensible."
