Biography

Gosia Majewska is an economist specializing in health and industrial organization. She received her PhD from the Toulouse School of Economics and is an Assistant Professor at ESSEC. She also holds degrees from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and the University of Amsterdam, and was a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University. Her research agenda covers topics surrounding various aspects of pharmaceutical markets, from innovation and bringing new products to the market, the effects of changes in market structure on prices and advertising, and the interaction of regulated prices and the incidence of shortages, with a special interest in the challenges surrounding antibiotics.
