Abstract
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) is an Indian oil major that undertook an organizational redesign program to restructure its business portfolio in the face of liberalization and intense competition in the Indian business environment. The article discusses the change process vis-a-vis environment, strategy, structure, people and performance.
