"fr" => "Les entrepôts de données sont basés sur la modélisation multidimensionnelle et OLAP. La vérification des modèles multidimensionnels, et en particulier de l'additivité dans ces modèles, est complexe et sujette à erreurs. Pour cette vérification, le raisonnement formel est approprié. Dans cet article, nous proposons et illustrons une approche pour représenter un modèle multidimensionnel sous forme d'ontologie OWL DL, et pour raisonner sur cette ontologie afin de vérifier le modèle. Nous investiguons également les complémentarités entre notre approche et le vocabulaire RDF Data Cube, afin de faciliter la transition vers le Web sémantique."
"en" => "Data warehouses are based on multidimensional modeling and OLAP. Checking multidimensional models and their summarizability is complex and error-prone. To perform this task, formal reasoning is appropriate. In this paper, we propose and illustrate an approach to represent a multidimensional model as an OWL DL ontology, and reason on this ontology to check the multidimensional model and its summarizability. We also investigate the complementarities between our approach and the RDF Data Cube vocabulary, in order to facilitate transition to the semantic Web."
