Dans ce contexte, la business intelligence en libre service gagne en popularité. Dans la business intelligence en libre service, les utilisateurs accomplissent leurs tâches de business intelligence sans l'aide du service Informatique. Dans la forme la plus élaborée, ces tâches incluent la préparation des données. La business intelligence en libre service nécessite une nouvelle méthodologie, qui mêle la modélisation et la préparation des données. Ce chapitre propose une telle méthodologie, destinée aux utilisateurs expérimentés, aux analystes, ou aux data scientists."

In the most elaborate form, these tasks include data preparation. Self-service business intelligence requires a new methodology, blending data modeling and preparation. This chapter proposes and illustrates such a methodology, aimed at power users, analysts, or data scientists."
