It contains a unique and exclusive interview with Dr. Shetty conducted by Dr. Xavier Pavie. The case illustrates the way Dr. Shetty used innovative techniques to provide healthcare to the masses. It helps understand the economic model adopted by the NH group particularly focusing on the idea of applying industry specific methods - relying on economies of scale and reaching large volumes - to the healthcare business.
