Managerial IT Unconsciousness
Three IT projects over the past six years in Australia have been catastrophic or near catastrophic for there organizations. A major element of good practice concerns IT governance, that is, the pattern of authority in business firms, including IT infrastructure, IT use and project management. The three case stuies show that IT governance was largely ignored -and we call such failure of IT projects "managerial IT unconsciousness".
