"fr" => "Les entrepôts de données sont fondés sur la modélisation multidimensionnelle. Les décideurs analysent les données multidimensionnelles à l'aide d'outils OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing). Les utlisateurs ont besoin de considérer les données à différents niveaux d'aggrégation. Cependant, les modèles conceptuels multidimensionnels actuels représentent imparfaitement les connaissances d'aggrégation. Ce papier présente une approche qui combine les objets (diagrammes de classes UML) et les règles (exprimées en langage PRR - Production Rules Representation) pour représenter les connaissances d'aggrégation. Nous présentons les diagrammes de classes, ainsi qu'une typologie et des exemples de règles associées."
"en" => "Data warehouses are based on multidimensional modeling. Using On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) tools, decision makers analyze multidimensional data. Users need to consider data at different aggregation levels. However, current conceptual multidimensional models poorly represent aggregation knowledge. This paper presents an approach combining objects (UML class diagrams) with rules (expressed with the Production Rules Representation language - PRR) to represent aggregation knowledge. We present the class diagrams, and a typology and examples of associated rules."
