Abstract
This chapter discusses the issue of greenwashing in the marketing of environmentally friendly products and the efforts made by the European Union (EU) to combat it. It highlights the EU’s Action Plan on Financing Sustainable Growth and the proposed Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive and explores the EU’s green finance taxonomy.
