Over these last twenty years, the convergence of the policies of payment, companies of the different countries, appears sharply. One of the reasons holds the fact that in the context of globalization, the differences of the environment shade off and that certain evolutions are common. One cas observe, in the African companies, an evolution of the policies and practices of payment reflecting the noticed tendencies to the international level. Having presented the big tendencies of the evolution of the policies of payment to the international level, the perspectives for year 2000 are examined.
