      "fr" => "Cet article décrit une méthode de conception de système expert, appelée UNIFESS, qui intègre l'orientation objet, les réseaux de Petri et les tables de décision. L'orientation objet permet la modélisation conceptuelle des données et des processus, des faits et des règles. Les réseaux de Petri permettent la représentation des règles et leur enchaînement. Les tables de décision permettent l'acquisition et la validation de la connaissance. La méthode a été appliquée avec succès à plusieurs cas réels. Une application à la prévision du taux d'intérêt à long terme est décrite."
      "en" => "This paper describes an expert system design method, called UNIFESS, which integrates object-orientation, Petri nets and decision tables. Object-orientation allows a conceptual modeling of data and processes and/or facts and rules. Petri nets are seen as a source of knowledge representation in the conceptual design phase. Finally, decision tables are used to make knowledge acquisition and validation easier. The method has been applied to several real world cases and shown to be very efficient. An application to forecasting long-term interest rates is described."
