Abstract
Clifford Geertz’s cultural anthropology lays the foundations of interpretive approaches. Yet, it distinguishes itself by a radicality whose main characteristics are its modesty towards the knowledge produced, the nature of its links with methodology, and the status granted to research results. Hence, the first part of this paper aims at presenting this anthropology and its particularities. The second part proposes to integrate it to other approaches, in a way that enables to go past its limitations and benefit from its strengths to fertilize Management research.
