Abstract
This article develops a theoretical model of structural unemployment in transitional economies. The model includes two sectors (the “State sector” and the “private sector”) with different approaches as to their employment behavior. The analysis is conducted first in a partial equilibrium then in a general equilibrium framework. Static and dynamic analyses are also presented.
