Strategies for Assisting Expat Spouses

This article examines the major issue of the "expat spouse" in the management of expatriates. It gives prominence to the strong correlation between the adjustment of the expatriate and the adjustment of the spouse. It depicts policies for assisting expat spouses. The policies range on a continuum, from one extreme where the organization does nothing to the other extreme where it manages the dual career issue.
