Reverse Engineering of Relational Database Physical Schemas

The paper describes a reverse engineering method aiming at the de-optimization of relational database physical schemas by analyzing both the Data Description Language and the Data Manipulation Language specifications and by performing a data mining process. This approach is inserted within the context of a reverse engineering method, called MeRCI.
