Abstract
Research on international mobility aims at a further understanding of the key success factors of a global assignment. However, defining an expatriation success is controversial both in the academic and professional community. This article strives to explain what an expatriation success is, both for the organization and the individual so as to give some practical implications for the management of international mobility.
