Research into Practice: Qualitative Research in Information Systems
Researchers must ensure project work is high quality, but they need also to justify the research approach used, giving reasons why it was appropriate, why other approaches were not used and show that it was used correctly. In this paper we discuss qualitative research approaches with examples of their use. These tend to be particularly for research into IS practice.
