Mais c’est au 19ème siècle que le terme fut inventé et que le socialisme utopique s’affirma en réaction aux mutations sociales engendrées par la révolution industrielle. Le socialisme d’aujourd’hui s’adapte aux réalités et rejette les utopies qui l’ont fait naître. En Europe, tous les dirigeants qui ont gouverné au nom du socialisme le démontrent, de Mitterrand à Zapatero."
