Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present software estimation models using a bottom-up approach. We show that the ex-post models presented in this paper lead to a realistic effort estimation. These seven models rely on a linear regression based only on one or two independent variables. During the validation process, we have shown that our model and Function Point Analysis (FPA) give similar results, whereas the COCOMO model does not apply to this technical environment.
