This paper develops a model which predicts times of purchase of consumer durables on the basis of intentions to buy. This model combines Morrison's (1979) model with mixtures of uniform and beta densities. It is tested on Morwitz' (1991) data and on the periodic survey data collected by the National Statistics Institute.
