Abstract
Four questions guide this chapter: what are frames from a psychoanalytic perspective; how are these frames used in contexts to allow individuals to creatively resolve problems; how is this approach useful in understanding how negotiation is used to resolve conflicts; what research methods are most useful in an understanding of negotiation processes that use such frames?
