This book is based on existing practices within HRM and the hierarchical structure as well as on the results of various research and personal experiences so as to describe, successively and in a logical order, every facet related to HRM and to the hierarchical structure in an organization. In so doing, it presents the oldest and the most recent findings in that field. It also describes the practices and customs in force within organizations belonging to very different cultural and geographical environments such as Quebec, Canada, the USA and France.
