In both industry and services, scientific organisation of work has reached its limits. Division of power offers several advantages. After defining these advantages and the different levels at which the division of power can operate (power to suggest, organisational power, decision-making power) and pointing out divisible elements (knowledge, information, profits,...), the communication department will examine the main costs associated with the division of power and the conditions required for its success.
