Abstract
This paper examines the contents of Molière’s first nine plays, until his first real political work. The paper shows to what extent, by studying the language of women, Molière created a new way of ‘economic’ life. Concerning certain issues of Christian theology, these are the first signs announcing the birth of a ‘Civil Society’.
