Managing Autonomous and Planned Innovations : A Matched Sample Comparison

Based on the careful analysis of twelwe innovation processes realized by a large French high-tech company, this research compares autonomous and planned innovation processes. The main result states the existence of numerous linkages and synergies between these two kinds of innovation and explains how these links are developed.
