Abstract
Humanism defined itself as the project to become « as masters and possessors of nature » (Descartes, Discourse on Methods). Certainly positive, this intention became deleterious due to its unilateral and progressively exclusively dominant triumph. We nowadays need to reinvent humanism, re-learning how to just understand our environment and, as Heidegger would have put it, to be again able to “listen” to it.
