Abstract
The European commission is preoccupied withcorporate governance. But its reflections are recent on this subject. After the communication of May 2003, some priorities were defined. This short article synthetises the recommendations of the commission, it is important to underline that at first a recommendation is not a binding text, and secondly that nowhere social responsibility is mentioned.
