Le mythe du New Deal

Contrary to a widely spread common opinion, President's Franklin D. Roosevelt New Deal has not pulled the United States out of the Great Depression. This article shows that the level of unemployment has remained high between President's Roosevelt first inauguration in 1933 to 1942 when the United States has entered the Second World War. Protectionism, high taxes and a series of erratic and absurd measures have contributed to this bleak situation.
