Abstract
In communication industries, successfully launching a new platform (either hardware or network) strongly depends on the number and quality of compatible software. This interaction phenomenon leads to the building of a simple systemic model. The paper shows why the coordination of the launching of both hardware and software is crucial for the new platform to be successful.
