This article explains that the National Front views employment as existing in a fixed quantity. This point of view is shared by trade unions and political parties of the Left (but not only of the Left). The National Front want this fixed quantity to be shared only between French nationals whereas traditional political parties advocate sharing existing jobs by shortening the weekly work time. The day this system will have failed the public opinion might endorse the National Front's policy.
